The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) confirms on Thursday that it has an update from the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) related to the spinner Kashif Bhatti testing positive for the coronavirus.
“Kashif Bhatti’s matter now discuss in the ECB,” said the PCB. It also clarified that the player was sent to England after two negative tests reports were received by the board.
“Kashif Bhatti’s test for the airline also as negative,” the PCB stated. It added that ECB can make the arrangements about the bio-scure environment in England.
Earlier, sources had told Geo News that Bhatti has been confined to his room after testing positive for the virus upon his arrival in England.
